Natracare Organic Cotton Tampons Super with Applicator 16pcs
The Natracare smooth, easy glide cardboard applicator helps with the insertion of the tampon. The material used to make this biodegradable applicator tube is totally chlorine free.
Why choose organic cotton tampons?
Most brands of tampons are made from a mix of rayon and non organic cotton and are commonly chlorine bleached. Some tampons may even be wrapped in a plastic outer, or be dyed a different colour. Rayon is a highly absorbent fibre which rapidly absorbs menstrual blood but at the same time can also dry out the natural protective mucous lining of the vagina.
Why Natracare Organic Cotton Tampons with Applicator?
- Only 100% organic cotton, and nothing else
- Totally chlorine free
- No rayon, plastics or dyes
- Biodegradable & compostable
- Smooth, easy glide cardboard applicator
- Expands lengthways
Directions for use
Unlike the applicator style, this tampon is inserted using your longest finger which tucks into the flared end of the tampon to enable the tampon to be pushed into place. Deciding between an applicator and non applicator tampon is generally a matter of personal preference.
Just remember that we are
- Plastic Free
Plastics pollute the environment and can irritate the skin. We use over 99% biodegradable and compostable plant cellulose instead of super absorbent polymers.
- Totally Chlorine Free
Chlorine bleaching creates a carcinogenic by a product called dioxin. We don’t want even a trace left in our products, so we always use oxygen to purify and whiten our organic cotton.
- Biodegradable and Compostable
Most are full of synthetic materials such as plastic that do not break down in the earth for hundreds of years. So, we ensure Natracare products are between 95% and 100% biodegradable and compostable.
No Fiber Loss
NatraCare has made a very convincing demonstration of the fibre loss that occurs with conventional tampons. Fibre loss is an issue not just because you end up with a lot of cotton and rayon shreds hanging out in your vagina, but they can provide a breeding ground for bacteria. To cut down on the amount of fibre loss, conventional tampon makers put a synthetic overlay made from crude oil on each tampon to keep the absorbent inner core from falling loose from the tampon.
Tampons are associated with Toxic Shock Syndrome, a rare but serious disease that may cause death. Read and save the enclosed information.
