These Terms & Conditions of Sale for Verita Store govern the purchase of products offered on veritastore.com (the “Website”). Please carefully read these terms to understand your legal rights and obligations with regards to the purchase of the products. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions of Sale, please do not place an order with us. 

Our Verita Store is offered and intended for users, and orders can only be placed by user, who is 18 years of age or older.  If you do not meet the minimum age, you must not place any order.

1. Account

1.1 To make a purchase, you may need to register for an account or required to be logged in to an account on our Website. It is a condition of your purchase that all the information you provide to us is correct, current and complete. 

1.2 You are fully responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.  You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.  If you suspect any unauthorized access or use of your account please notify us immediately.

1.3 We reserve the rights to disable any account with suspicious or potentially fraudulent activities.

2. Order

2.1 After you have submitted your order through our Website, we will send you an order confirmation e-mail containing your order ID, item description, payment, and delivery information. Please note that the order confirmation e-mail to you is an acknowledgement of your order and is not an acceptance of your order.

2.2 Once we have processed your order, we will send you a shipping confirmation e-mail containing your order information. The shipping confirmation is our acceptance of your order.

2.3 All purchases are subject to stock availability. We do not guarantee that all items listed on our Website are in stock at the time of your order. If a product is unavailable after you have placed your order, we will notify you immediately by e-mail. If we have received payment for a product that is unavailable, we will refund you the amount of the purchase.

2.4 The purchase of products from our Website is restricted to your personal use only and not for any commercial resale.

2.5 If there is a mistake with your submitted order, please email products@verita.com immediately or call us at +65 6733 3627.  Our phone operating hours are from Monday to Friday, 10.00 am to 6.00 pm except public holidays. We will try our best to amend your order if it has not been processed for shipment.  If your order has been processed for shipment, we will not be able to amend your order and you have to refer to our return / exchange policy. 

2.6 We reserve the right to remove any products from the Website at any time. We aim to fulfil all orders but we reserve the right to refuse any order even after we have sent you an order confirmation email. If we cancel an order that you have already paid, we will issue a full refund to you.  We are not liable to you or any third party for withdrawing a product from our Website, or for refusing to process or accept an order.

3. Price and Payment

3.1 We are not obliged to fulfil your order if the price listed on the Website is incorrect, even if your order has been acknowledged by us.  If there is a pricing error in your order, we will inform you as soon as practicable and allow you the option of (i) amending your order to the correct price or (ii) cancelling your order.  We will use best efforts to contact you in the event of a pricing error, however if we fail to reach you we will treat your order as cancelled.  If you choose to cancel your order and such order has not been shipped, we will issue a full refund.

3.2 Where applicable, prices listed on our Website are inclusive of GST and are in Singapore Dollars.

3.3 Any additional fees, such as delivery costs applicable to your order, will be shown in the total amount before you proceed to pay.

3.4 You can make payment using any of the payment options listed on our Website, e.g. bank transfer or PayPal. If you have a promotional voucher or code, you can use it to pay the full or partial amount of your purchase.

3.5 If you use the PayPal payment option, your card will be debited after PayPal has successfully processed your payment.  If we do not receive any payment clearance from PayPal, we will not process your order for shipment and we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of your order.

4. Delivery

4.1 You can choose your preferred shipping option at checkout.  Delivery times are provided as a reference only measured from the date of dispatch and do not account for delays due to payment processing or stock availability.

4.2 In the event there are any delay to the delivery, we will notify you as soon as possible.  We are not liable to you for any losses, liabilities or damages arising out of any late delivery.

4.3 Upon delivery of the Product, you may be required to sign for delivery. You may contact our Customer Service Team at +65 6733 3627 or drop us an email at products@verita.com in case of any faults, defects or damage.

4.4 In the event that we are unable to deliver to your specified address, we will contact you and arrange for an alternative delivery address or to cancel your order.

4.5 We deliver in our standard packaging.  If your order has multiple items, we may deliver the items to you separately at different timings.

4.6 All risk in the ordered item shall pass to you upon delivery. From the time when risk passes to you, we will not be liable for loss or destruction of the item.

4.7 If you are not available to receive the delivery, we may leave a card or give you a call to give you instructions on either re-delivery or collection from our office. Redelivery charges will apply and we will inform you accordingly.

4.8 If you, for whatever reason, refuse to accept delivery or if you do not (within two weeks of our first attempt to deliver the item to you) accept delivery or collect the item from our office, we may (without affecting any other right or remedy available to us) do either or both of the following:

(a) charge you for any fee and other costs reasonably incurred by us; or

(b) cancel your order, in which case we will refund to you or your credit or debit card company as applicable any money already paid to us under that order, less our reasonable administration charges (including for attempting to deliver and then returning the item, and any storage fees).

5. Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact our Customer Service Team on +65 6733 3627 or drop us an email at products@verita.com.  No cancellation fees shall be applicable. However if an order has been processed for shipping, it may not be cancelled and you must return the item for a refund instead.

6. Returns and Refunds

6.1 You may request a return of your purchase for a refund by contacting our Customer Service within seven (7) days from the receipt of the delivery. The returned item shall be un-used and in the original brand packaging.

6.2 You must ensure that the item is sent to us in the same condition as it was when received by you and is packaged properly. If an item is returned to us in a tampered condition, we reserve the right not to accept returns and send the item back to you.

6.3 A refund shall be issued shortly after we receive your items, according to the same payment method you used at the purchase. We will issue you a refund of the amount paid to us minus all outbound shipping / delivery fees.  We reserve the right to deduct for any diminished value to the returned item due to your handling of the item.

7. Defective Product

7.1 All item descriptions, information and materials posted on the Website are provided ‘as is’ and without warranties express, implied or otherwise.

7.2 The product image as seen on the Website may slightly differ from the actual product or item that you receive.

7.3 If the item you receive is defective, please contact our Customer Service Team and provide your Order ID, your name and address, details of the item and the reason for return.

7.4 Upon receipt of the item and we reasonably determine that it is defective or faulty, we reserve to right to send you a replacement.

7.5 In the event the item returned is not defective, we reserve the right not to replace or refund you for the item and/or we may require you to pay all reasonable delivery or administrative costs at our current standard fees and costs, and, to the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable to you for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses as a result.

8. Vouchers

8.1 You may use promotional vouchers while making payment for items on our website.  To redeem the voucher, please enter the voucher promotional code before checking out.

8.2 You can transfer the use of the voucher to another person.

8.3 We reserve the right to refuse redemption of a voucher and request alternative forms of payment if a voucher is fraudulently obtained or used.

8.4 We assume no liability for the loss, theft or illegibility of gift or promotional vouchers.

8.5 We have the sole discretion discontinue or cancel any voucher previously issued and will not be responsible for any losses arising therefrom.

8.6 Conditions for the redemption of promotional vouchers:

(a) Promotional vouchers are valid for the specified period stated on the voucher, can only be redeemed once and may not be used in conjunction with other promotional vouchers and discounted items. We may exclude individual brands from voucher promotions.

(b) If you place an order for an item less than the value of the promotional voucher, no refund or residual credit will be returned to you.

(c) The promotional voucher is not refundable and cannot be replaced if lost, damaged or expired.

(d) The promotional voucher is not exchangeable for cash.

(e) If the credit of a promotional voucher is insufficient for the total amount of the order, you can pay the difference using one of our accepted payment methods.

(f) We reserve the right to vary and amend these terms and conditions of promotional vouchers at any time without prior notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 The remedies set out in clause 6 (Returns and Refunds) are the customer’s sole and exclusive remedies for non-conformity of or defects in the products.

9.2 IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR LIABILITY TO YOU WITH RESPECT TO ANY PARTICULAR ORDER EXCEED THE TOTAL PURCHASE AMOUNT FOR SUCH ORDER.

9.3 We shall not be liable to you for any losses whatsoever or howsoever caused (regardless of the form of action) arising directly or indirectly in connection with: (i) the sale of the products to you, or its use by you; and (ii) any defect arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, misuse, negligence, accident, abnormal storage and or working conditions, alteration or modification of the products or failure to comply with instructions on the use of the products (whether oral or written).

10. General

10.1 If at any time any provision of these Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be or shall become illegal, invalid, or unenforceable in any respect, the legality, validity, and enforceability of the remaining provisions of this Terms and Conditions shall not be affected or impaired thereby, and shall continue in force as if such illegal, invalid, or unenforceable provision was severed from these Terms and Conditions.

10.2 These Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Singapore law.

10.3 Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this Terms and Conditions, or the breach, termination or invalidity thereof shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the Rules for Arbitration of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC). The arbitral tribunal shall consist of a sole arbitrator, to be appointed by the Chairman of the SIAC. The place of arbitration shall be Singapore. Any award by the arbitration tribunal shall be final and binding upon the parties.

10.4 We are not be liable for non-performance, error, interruption or delay in the performance of its obligations under these Terms and Conditions (or any part thereof) or for any inaccuracy, unreliability or unsuitability of the Website’s contents if this is due, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly to an event or failure which is beyond our reasonable control.

10.5 We may by notice through the Website or by such other method of notification as we may designate (which may include notification by way of e-mail), vary the terms and conditions of these Terms and Conditions of Sale, such variation to take effect on the date we specify through the above means. If you use the Website after such date, you are deemed to have accepted such variation. If you do not accept the variation, you must stop access or using the Website.
